Utilization of GAT Supplements In a Comprehensive Peri-Workout Nutrition Plan

Peri-Workout nutrition is key to building the muscular physique we are all trying to achieve. Beating ourselves up in the gym is pointless without a solid plan in place. This is even more critical when, in an effort to drop body fat, we are in a caloric deficit. There is nothing worse than watching all the additional muscle we built in the offseason disappear when in a “cutting phase.” Proper nutrition and GAT Supplements will ensure that we preserve our muscle while dieting. Here is a sample plan you can try. Adjust portion sizes according to your nutritional requirements.

One Hour Before Training

2 scoops of GAT’s Supertein. Supertein consists of multiple protein sources for sustained anabolism, natural digestive enzyme support, and is low fat, low carb, and low sugar.

Try combining Supertein with oats (provides complex carbs important for sustained energy), blueberries (high in antioxidants and fiber), and raw almond butter (provides healthy fats).

½ Hour Before Training

GAT’s Nitraflex. This great tasting supplement provides 325 mg of caffeine per serving. This will give you an extra boost to get you through tough workouts when energy levels are compromised due to the rigors of a tough diet. Nitraflex also delivers the testosterone elevating complex Calcium Fructopyranose Borate. As time goes by during a “cutting phase” testosterone levels can actually decline. This key ingredient found in Nitraflex has been shown in 2 clinical studies to increase testosterone which will help offset the decline caused by being in a caloric deficit. Nitraflex also contains Citrulline which increases NO production, reduces lactic acid and ammonia, and aids with ATP and Phosphocreatine recovery.

Intra Workout

GAT’s Muscle Martini. It’s hard to believe that this delicious supplement is sugar-free. It is chock full of amino acids, including BCAA’s which are essential amino acids that cannot be produced by our bodies. Amino Acids are anti-catabolic and prevent muscle breakdown which in a caloric deficit can potentially be an issue. Muscle Martini also contains Glutamine which aids with protein synthesis, cell volume and hydration, increases in growth hormone levels, boosts immune system, and can help with intestinal health. Muscle Martini also contains Indian Goose Berry (CAPROS by trademark) which is an antioxidant with 17x the strength of Pomegranate.

Immediately Post Workout

GAT’s JETMASS consists of the highest quality German Creatine Monohydrate. Creatine increases muscle size and power which will help offset the loss of strength that sometimes occurs when in a dieting phase. JETMASS also increases endurance, is anti-catabolic, enhances recovery, and is an ATP activator. JETMASS also contains BCAA’s, arginine, citrulline, and waxy maize which gently raises blood glucose.

To take advantage of the “post training anabolic window,” combine a high glycemic carbohydrate with GAT’s Supertein. The high glycemic carbs will spike insulin which in turn will shuttle all these key ingredients into the muscle. You can actually have your favorite kid’s cereal. I love Lucky Charms! Mix the Supertein with water and use as “milk” for your cereal.

There you have it folks. Utilizing GAT supplements peri-workout will help you build muscle and COMPETE HARDER even while in a dieting phase. Give it a shot and let us know how it works out!
