Tis the Season for Pumpkin

Most of us wait for this all year. Pumpkin is IN! Everywhere we go from now until the end of the year we are faced with so many delicious (and not so nutritious) pumpkin style favorites. For me, a HUGE fan of the odd looking orange gourd, I would hate going through the holidays without partaking at least a bit. I am going to share with you two of my easiest and most tasty recipes to help you enjoy the season just the way I do. ENJOY!
Pumpkin Protein Pancakes: The only way to start your Thanksgiving day
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/3 c canned pumpkin ( pure pumpkin and organic when available)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 scoop protein powder – TRY Gaspari myofusion Cinnamon Roll
- 2 egg whites
- dash of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove
- 2 packets of Truvia
- 1/8 tsp baking soda ( keeps them fluffy)
DIRECTIONS:
Add everything into a magic bullet or similar style blender. Once you’ve created a thick batter, you can use your stove top to create your own personal serving of delicious holiday flavor! I use a low heat setting to keep them fluffy and from over drying
